The LOSC reserve bows with Mukau, Zedadka and Fernandez

The LOSC reserve team faced that of Stade de on Saturday for the 6th day of National 3. Despite the start of Mukau, Fernandez-Pardo and Zedadka, were unable to avoid defeat.

A difficult evening despite a solid first half

Despite the presence of leading personalities in the stands, including Ayoub Bouaddi, who came to observe his former teammates, the Stade Rennais coach Bruno Genesio and his technical staff, as well as Olivier Létang, president of LOSC, the Lille youth did not failed to impose itself. In fact, the LOSC reserve lost 3-1 against the Reims reserve at the Luchin area, during a meeting marked by some tactical experiments.

The surprise came from the inclusion of several first-team players in this starting XI, notably Matias Fernandez-Pardo, Ngal’ayel Mukau and Akim Zedadka. Malouda’s opener in the 42nd minute marked a successful first half for the Mastiffs, but defensive lapses at the end of the match completely changed the game. Thus, in the space of 10 minutes, the Rémois scored three goals through Ibrahim (77′ and 80′) and Gory (87′). The lack of physical intensity in the second half largely explains this negative result.

On an individual level, Matias Fernandez-Pardo has been one of the most prominent players. Very active on his left side, he increased his runs and impactful actions before being replaced in the 81st minute by Beau Djellel. The same goes for Ngal’ayel Mukau, just back from injury, who only played the first half before being replaced by Vanbaleghem at half-time. As for Akim Zedadka, very little used by Bruno Genesio, he played the entire match.
