Moses Simon recounts his ordeal in Libya and announces the color against OGC !

During a recent interview, FC player Moses Simon shared a disturbing experience he had with the Nigeria national team in Libya. The footballer described a situation where he felt like he was being held hostage, stuck at Al-Abaq airport for several hours.

The Nigerian team was initially scheduled to land in Benghazi, but shortly before arrival the pilot was informed that he could not land there. Forced to change course, they landed at Al-Abaq, where no assistance awaited them.

Faced with these difficult conditions, Moses Simon described the total absence of comfort, without food or drink, and without the possibility of going to a hotel, because access was denied to them as Nigerians. This situation was experienced as a real test by the team.

Despite this mishap, Simon claims to have regained his calm after these hours of anguish. He said he will be ready to play for FC Nantes on Sunday against thus showing his determination to overcome this experience.

“We felt like we were being held hostage,” he confided, highlighting the collective fear that gripped the team during this episode. He sincerely hopes that such events will not happen again in the future.

Moses Simon also expressed his gratitude to his federation, which had tried to find accommodation for the team, although this was made impossible by local obstacles. This ordeal will undoubtedly remain engraved in the memories of the players concerned.
