Mercato: Luis Enrique ready to kill PSG?

After being very close to spending between €70 and €75 million to recruit him, Luis Campos ended up having Milan Skriniar, who joined Saint-Germain free during the 2023 summer transfer window. But a year and a half later, he is already persona non grata and this especially seems to be linked to Luis Enrique, who would not be a fan of his profile.

Everything suggested a masterstroke. Considered one of the best defenders of Serie A for several years, Milan Skriniar disembarked without the PSG does not pay a single penny in transfer compensation. An operation which enraged his former clubInter where we thought we could extend it, but which ultimately does not really seem to be a total success in Paris.

Skriniar is no longer essential to PSG

Because after his debut as a starter, the Slovak international seems to have completely left the plans of Luis Enrique. Worse, several media outlets have assured that Skriniar would have been pushed out during the last transfer window, without however finding a new club. Reinstated since, his situation has not really changed since the start of the season he has only played two short matches with the PSG in Ligue 1with no minutes on the clock in Champions League.

Luis Enrique did everything to get rid of it

He is clearly no longer welcome in Paris and this seems to be directly linked to Luis Enrique. La Gazzetta dello Sport points out that the coach of PSG wanted to send a message to his management by dismissing Milan Skriniar during the second part of last season, showing that he has no place in his rotation. This has not stopped this season, since he seemed to force the hand of the Parisian club by not aligning the formerInter on none of the first three days of Ligue 1.
