Lazio is a new crossroads for former Olympique Marseille players. This 2024-2025 season, there are three of them to wear the sky blue of the Roman jersey, after having defended the other sky blue and white tunic of the Marseille team: Mattéo Guendouzi in midfield, the full-back Nuno Tavares and Samuel Gigot in defense.

All three do not have the same status in the locker room and consequently the same remuneration. According to the Lazio team salary scale communicated by Calcio e Finanza, French international Mattéo Guendouzi is the best paid of the three, with 2.5 million euros net per season or the gross equivalent of 3 .27 million. He is the third highest paid player in his team behind Mattia Zaccagni (€3.2 million net) and Alessio Romagnoli (€3 million).
Gigot is on loan from OM this season
Follows the Portuguese full-back Nuno Tavares at 2 million euros net per year and Samuel Gigot, at 1.3 million net per season. The last two are each at Lazio on loan this season, a situation which was also that of Mattéo Guendouzi, before the club exercised the option on his transfer and the two parties signed together until 2028.
