On the next day, all the supporters will return to the Matmut Atlantique, and the two groups will be opposite each other, one at the Virage Nord and the other at the Virage Sud. However, this match will take place under high security, as reported by France Bleu Gironde.
The Gironde Prefecture has in fact taken several measures intended to “secure” the event, in particular through police forces which are authorized to use drones equipped with cameras, in order to “ensure the smooth running of this sporting event”. All this is obviously in addition to the existing video surveillance system. Smoke bombs and pyrotechnic devices are also prohibited, as is the transport and possession in public spaces of fuel, acids and all flammable and combustible products.
More than 10,000 spectators are expected for this match.
