Spanish attacking midfielder Dani Olmo was finally registered in LaLiga on Tuesday and is included in the list of players called up by FC Barcelona for the third matchday of against Rayo Vallecano on Tuesday (19:30 GMT), where he could make his debut for the Blaugrana.

Signed for 55 million euros (61 million dollars) from Leipzig, the European champion with La Roja was unable to play in the first two rounds of the Spanish championship because the Catalan club was unable to register him officially due to financial problems.

Barça freed up wages with the departures of Gündogan, back to Manchester City, the young Senegalese defender Mikayil Faye who went to Rennes and the loans of Clément Lenglet to Atlético de Madrid and Vitor Roque to Betis.

But according to the Spanish press, these departures were not enough and did not allow Barcelona to sign Olmo, so the club used the long-term absence of the Dane Andreas Christensen, injured with an Achilles tendon, to get around the rules.
