We wondered if Domenico Tedesco would surprise in his choices for this Belgium-Israel, and take advantage of a more “accessible” match to experiment. Absolutely not: it is an eleven very close to the typical team that the coach opted for!

In our eyes, the match against Israel represented the best opportunity for Domenico Tedesco to experiment a little, before a shock against France which would require fielding the best possible eleven. But the coach clearly wants to see his best team in action this Friday.

Indeed, the Devils’ starting 11 against Israel is known, and it holds few surprises. We already knew that Arthur Theate would replace Vertonghen on the left of the defensive axis; quite logically, it is Maxim De Cuyper who replaces him at the back.

Wout Faes and Timothy Castagne complete the defence, while Aston Villa duo Amadou Onana – Youri Tielemans are already in the starting line-up. Kevin De Bruyne is not left to rest either and starts the match.

Just like, up front, his teammate at Manchester City, Jérémy Doku, who is lined up from the start of the game. Loïs Openda replaces Lukaku at position 9, and on the right, it is Dodi Lukebakio who takes precedence over Johan Bakayoko.

We can imagine seeing changes during the match to achieve the hoped-for and announced tries if the scenario of the match allows it. Kick-off at 8:45 p.m.!
