As a preamble to the wishes of the municipal council on Saturday, January 18 in the village hall, the mayor of Salviac François Dols, surrounded by two deputies, Philippe Méline and Christine Dhieux, vice-president of the CCAS, presented his wishes to the residents and staff of the Maison de Mélanie, the Salviac nursing home. In the presence of Hervé Tomassi, the director of the establishment, Mireille Figeac, the president of the Cazals/Salviac community of communes, Frédéric Gineste, the vice-president of the departmental council, and Christiane Lablanche, the president of the association ” Together for a moment”, the mayor notably mentioned the launch of the construction site of the future nursing home, and praised the commitment of the staff in the service and their dedication to the residents. He also spoke of the challenges that were met in 2024. He reiterated his “confidence in everyone’s investment”.

He also recalled that it is the staff who bring serenity and calm to the retirement home, thus bringing “their contribution to this vast building that is the retirement home and more broadly to society”. It should be remembered in this regard that the Salviac nursing home has a good reputation in terms of well-being for residents and quality of staff. The ceremony ended with a friendly drink.
