“I am well supported”, Léo Banos relishes his 100% return with Stade Toulousain

Léo Banos has finished going back and forth between Mont-de-Marsan and . Here he is now a 100% Stade Toulousain player and one thing is certain, it is that he is one of the young people on whom Ugo Mola wants to rely. The young third row has already played seven matches at the start of the season, each time as a starter. This was particularly the case during the first day of the Champions Cup match, to deal with the absence of François Cros.

“Young people are helped to perform”

We do not yet know the team that will be fielded in on Sunday evening, but given that Ugo Mola has rested quite a few executives, Léo Banos should be there. Present at a press conference this week, the promising young Rouge et Noir spoke about his full-time return to the Pink City and his integration into the group. A perfectly successful integration, as Rugbyrama reports, with a mark of confidence from the staff which helps him even more to flourish.

I am very happy to be at Stade Toulouse and to have made the leap from Pro D2 to the Top 14. The integration could only go well with the guys in this locker room. The young people are helped to perform and we are given the opportunity to play as much as possible.

(…) I have done a lot and I am very happy with it. I compensated for the injury of François Cros who has a bit of the same style as me. I don't worry, whatever happens. When I'm on the pitch, I give 300%. Waiting to see if the coaches give me the match afterwards… Everything goes very quickly but I am well supported. It's easy to follow the right path at this club.

Léo Banos is added to the rotation on the third row, where there are already a lot of good people. Including François Cros, whom the young player takes as an example and whom he considers to be “clean and easy in everything it does”. Léo Banos seems visibly clearly involved in Ugo Mola's plans to replace the executives. The match in Lyon is further proof of this. The hardest part, and even more so in Toulouse, is to maintain the level so as not to go off plan.

To summarize

Léo Banos has finished going back and forth between Mont-de-Marsan and Toulouse. Here he is now a 100% Stade Toulousain player and one thing is certain, it is that he is one of the young people on whom Ugo Mola wants to rely. The young player talks about his integration into the Toulouse squad, he is enjoying it and learning a lot.
