Rugby – National: Will Bernard Goutta, received at US Carcassonne headquarters this Tuesday afternoon, become the club's new manager?
Benoît Mestre is clear. Clear. “We received Bernard Goutta to discuss, to exchange. Obviously, nothing was done, nothing was signed. For the moment, there is not even a question of anything. Simply, we talked, I’m not going to deny it.” The president of US Carcassonne just a few hours before the derby and the Narbonne reception at Domec (Friday 7:30 p.m.) insists: “There is only one thing that interests us at this time, it is this derby. We only have that in mind. It is our only objective. The players, the group, the staff, the club are focused on this part.”
He adds: “And then we put people in place, a staff with Mehadji Tidjini and Andréi Ursache. They have our trust. They work, the team works. The rest is not the problem of the day. Let's play this derby and We’ll see.”
