very good news for Henry Chavancy, his son saved from a serious illness

Last June, Henry Chavancy spoke, in a report broadcast on 2, about the serious illness which affected his son, Alagille syndrome. This disease affects the liver and little Côme was thus forced, at the age of 3, to take very heavy medication. Treatment taken while waiting for a liver transplant.

The transplant finally took place

The wait is now over for the Chavancy family since our colleagues from https://twitter.com/franceinfo/status/1858858009906008371 have indicated that the son of the Racing 92 center could finally have received a new liver after 17 months of waiting. Henry Chavancy expressed his gratitude to the donor's loved ones (the donation came, as required by law, from a deceased person whose name has not been revealed) : “We were very happy and filled with gratitude for this family who made this very difficult decision. Obviously we will think of them all our lives and we will talk about them to Côme to explain to him how lucky he was.”

Little Como is, as his mother indicates in the report, “on the road to recovery”. And this is excellent news for the whole Chavancy family.

To summarize

Last June, Henry Chavancy spoke of the serious illness affecting his son, who was awaiting a liver transplant. But very good news for the family of the Racing 92 player, this transplant could finally take place.
