Timéo Garric (Sidobre)

Here is a young man from the mountains educated at the Brassac rugby school who has found his place within the Sidobre Montagne XV club. After experiencing the XV game in M14, he and his comrades joined this first cadet team of the agreement.

A second general student at the Borde Basse high school in , he is an avid supporter of the CO and tries not to miss too many meetings of the flagship Tarn club. If he is on the pitch on Saturday, Dad is also there since he is part of the company which maintains the Pierre-Fabre lawn. “When I was very young, I went with my father to see matches. I have always had a passion for rugby. In Sidobre, I play 10 or 12 and I was named captain of this team of friends,” proudly admits Timéo Garric.

His coach Tristan Reynes is very satisfied with his player: “He’s a kid who listens and doesn’t shy away from anything. He is always present and even when injured, he comes to encourage his comrades. He is a leader by the example he sets and if he is reserved off the field, once the crampons are on, he is another person and leaves no respite to his opponents thanks to his devastating tackles. Timéo is a hub of our team with or without the ball. It’s really a pleasure to coach a guy of this caliber. »
Diabetic since the age of 12, he was able to adapt to the illness and, moreover, his father likes to recall that the first question he asked the diabetologist was to find out if he could play rugby again. The proof is that his determination proved him right and it was with great courage that he was able to handle the situation.

Romeo Colin Bravo (UAG)

Like Antoine Tichit, who we often see encouraging the UAG in Laborie, Roméo Colin Bravo started at number 8. But the expert eye of Jean-Pierre Escaffit, an educator for several decades in Gaillac and who does not have his the same for spotting future talents, quickly reoriented him towards the seats of the pack: “I sincerely think that given his lack of height, the position of left pillar is made for him as he reminds me of Antoine Tichit. » And Roméo agrees: “Jean-Pierre tried me in all the positions but it’s really in number 1 that I feel the best. »
“He is still lacking reference points,” puts Jean-Pierre Escaffit into perspective. But he is a hard worker, very technical and very powerful, with great potential. » Don’t throw any more away, in any case, the high school student, who discovered rugby in Gaillac at 9 years old – before, he lived in , “where there is no rugby culture”, notes Colin -, is determined to climb the ladder, with his head on his shoulders. “He’s a great guy,” praises Jean-Pierre Escaffit. We promoted him to captain because he was best able to reunite the first and second years, as there were some bickering. And Romeo calmed things down nicely.”
Very balanced in his life, he is very attached to his family and his club. Like his model Grégory Alldritt, Roméo Colin Bravo is very efficient in his loads and he advances on each impact… How far? Time will tell.

Scott Puel (SJAO XV)

“I was 7 years old when my father took me for training at Saint-Juéry. I liked it and I’ve been there ever since. After passing through all the categories to arrive this season in juniors. » Scotte Puel gets this rugby passion from his father who took him with him every Sunday to attend matches. A big fan of Stade Toulousain and Thomas Ramos in particular, he has the particularity of playing behind, rather 10, of having the role of captain but also of being a top scorer with 189 points to his credit during last season . “I play flyhalf and I like having this distributor role. I train a lot, even alone outside the club and I like to score,” says Scott Puel.

In 1st general at Rascol high school, he would like to train as a physiotherapist with, in the back of his mind, the dream of becoming a professional rugby player. But he knows that nothing is simple. In the meantime, his strong personality allows him to fully assume his role as captain and to deliver his pre-match speeches with passion.

His trainer Philippe Boudon has no trouble talking about him: “Scott is a local boy. A very good student, he is cerebral and thinks a lot and knows how to make decisions. He is more manager than creator and he is very hardworking. I don’t know how he will manage his playing career but in any case, I think he will end up on the bench as a coach. »

Scott Puel, a young man who is moving up to the junior category with already a good background and maturity acquired thanks to a winning temperament.

Milo Selme de Mondini (RCS XV)

Coming from a family of rugby players, Milo Selme de Mondini, student in 1st STL technology (laboratory), started rugby at the age of 8 at the Saint-Sulpice-La-Pointe rugby school. Of course, he has been involved in the oval ball since he was little but that is not the only reason for his choice of the oval ball. His grandfather and his father wore the colors of Stade Toulousain, but also those of the CO for his grandfather. “But I also chose rugby because I liked it,” explains Milo Selme of Mondini.

A profitable choice since he won several selections for the Tarn team, with a title of champion of last season in cadets, and even a semi-final of the R1 championship with the Girou Tarn XV gathering.

Although rugby and his studies occupy most of his time, he still has other passions. His friends, the motorbike, without forgetting his family. But who better than Dominique Alousque to talk about a young person he has been following for many years: “He is an interesting, interested and humble boy, for whom the future looks good since he was spotted by the Castres Olympique, club whose training center was integrated. »
Perhaps, in turn, Milo is writing a new page in the history that links him and his family to rugby.
