Transfers. Top 14 – International pillar Georges-Henri Colombe signed with Stade Toulouse

right pillar Georges-Henri Colombe gave his agreement to Stade at the start of the week. The French international (26 years old, four caps) has signed up for four years with the reigning champions.

Toulouse continues its collection of French internationals! After several weeks of discussions, the Pink City club has secured the services of Georges-Henri Colombe, as announced the Team. The right pillar of La Rochelle, which saw his competitor for the post Uini Atonio extend to La Rochelle a few months ago, found himself at the end of his contract next June. Former Racing 92 player, Colombe signed up at the start of the week and therefore decided to turn the page on La Rochelle, a club with whom he won the Champions Cup in 2023.

What about Nepo Laulala?

This arrival is obviously very good news for Toulouse, which is recovering a potential international here, since Colombe participated in the last two matches of the 2024 6 Nations Tournament and was a starter during the tour to Argentina this summer. His signing is also expected to relieve Ugo Mola in a delicate position, where this player profile is rare. In addition, New Zealander Nepo Laulala – victim of a ruptured Achilles tendon last season – may not return with the Toulouse jersey.
