The trial of a decade of horrors enters its second week this Monday. After hearing the victims, the Avignon court that is trying the Mazan rape case will now turn to the 51 accused, starting with the husband, Dominique Pélicot, the “conductor” of the sexual violence committed against his wife.
Rapist by night but caring grandfather by day, described as a “great guy” by his wife, just before she learned of the horror of the events, in the fall of 2020: it is first of all a psychological and psychiatric portrait of this 71-year-old man that will be drawn up on Monday, by four experts, before the criminal court of Vaucluse.

This “two-faceted” personality of a “manipulative pervert”, described as the “conductor of the rapes” by a co-accused, had already been outlined by a first expert on Friday, when he mentioned Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.
