The body of a man found buried in Genappe: three suspects arrested

The body of a former Polish amateur boxer, Bartosz Lapinski, was found buried last week in a field in Glabais, in the entity of Genappe (Walloon Brabant), Sudinfo reported on Monday. Three suspects were placed under arrest warrant in connection with this case, said the Walloon Brabant prosecutor’s office.

Bartosz Lapinski, who became homeless, lived in Braine-l’Alleud where he was known for his addiction problems. The thirty-year-old was the victim of a homicide, then buried in the countryside of Glabais. The murder is believed to have been committed in December 2024 and the victim’s body was found last Wednesday. A main suspect and two alleged accomplices were placed under arrest warrant.
