Little present on the French market for a little over a year, Realme has made its return discreetly in recent months, launching a few entry-level models and above all an affordable, but nevertheless effective GT6. The BBK Electronics brand continues its momentum and announces the marketing of the GT7 Pro, its best-equipped device to date, and at a rock-bottom price: when competing premium smartphones happily exceed the €1,000 mark, it makes a point of to position itself at €999. It even appears at €799 as part of Black Friday on Amazon from today…
For this price, Realme offers an overall attractive technical sheet, which we discovered during the Chinese officialization of the device. So count on a 6.78-inch Oled (LTPO) screen hiding nothing less than Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, flanked by 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage in its most affordable version. The Chinese firm hopes to seduce with the help of an XXL battery, whose capacity amounts to a whopping 6,500 mAh, but also with an announced ultra-bright screen and a triple back photo module. Count on a 50 Mpx main sensor with a wide-angle, on a second sensor of the same definition accompanied by a 3x telephoto lens and – the concession is visible – on an 8 Mpx sensor supplemented by ultra-wide-angle optics. The smartphone is also capable of filming up to 8K. We also appreciate its IP68/69 certification as well as its compatibility with wifi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
If it is clearly part of the current trend with its generous battery and its Qualcomm chip, the Realme GT7 leaves some gray areas. It debuts under Android 15 with Realme UI 6.0, but it remains unclear how many years it will receive software updates. We will be sure to update this news as soon as we know more.
