Warhammer 40,000: Darktide announces the release of its Grim Protocols expansion on December 3

Fatshark announces that Grim Protocols, the next free update for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, will be released on December 3 on all platforms, PC (Steam and Microsoft Store), Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. The update will introduce a new game mode, new mission, new weapon families, a special time-limited event to celebrate the second anniversary of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, quality of life improvements and much more.

The Grim Protocols free update features:

• New game mode – Havoc: Do you think you have mastered the threat hanging over Tertium? Think again. Havoc is a new endgame experience that will test the resolve of even the most experienced agent. Get ready to take on tough challenges and earn new cosmetic rewards.
• New Mission – Dark Communion: Return to Carnival and explore its darkest corners. Face hordes of sectarians who will stop at nothing to achieve their dark communion. Three new weapon families: Tear through waves of enemies while wielding the destructive power of the greatswords of force and might, as well as the heavy club Ogryn.
• Special Anniversary Event: To celebrate the second anniversary of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, the game will host an event that rewards players with a unique weapon trinket.
• And more: the expansion of the Penance progression track with new challenges and rewards, as well as quality of life improvements such as the expansion of the Party Finder function.
