Heba Press received correspondence from a number of citizens living in the Al-Wefaq neighborhood of Taza, involved in the Fogal urban transport company, who expressed their dissatisfaction with the lack of available means of transportation.

They confirmed that the two buses intended for transporting passengers, whether employees or students, are insufficient, particularly during peak hours.

In this context, many residents of Al-Wefaq neighborhood expressed their continued suffering due to the absence of buses that transport them to vital areas such as the city center, industrial zone, colleges and establishments of teaching.

They also complained about the difficulty of finding alternative means of transport, with some small taxi drivers refusing to take them to their destination.

Concerning the residents’ demands, the complaints called for the provision of a third bus which would run during the main hours, with the need to closely organize the movement of the buses after the departure of the students.

The complaints also confirmed that the current situation is exacerbating overcrowding, requiring the transportation fleet to be bolstered with additional buses to meet the needs of residents.

For its part, the Moroccan Association for Human Rights, Taza branch, called on the company’s management and local authorities, notably the head of the Taza community and the district agent, to seriously consider takes into account the demands of citizens and works to find immediate solutions to the problems. urban transportation problems facing the city.
