Eager to find a seventh foreign player to strengthen his team and create competition in his contingent of mercenaries, Gerd Zenhäusern, the Friborg sports director, has finally found the rare gem. Gottéron has secured the services of Canadian Linden Vey (33 years old) until the end of the season.

The striker started the season in Russia with Avangard Omsk. Despite excellent statistics (19 points in 20 matches), the club and the player decided to end their collaboration by mutual agreement on 1is November.

The striker knows the Swiss championship since he finished the 2017-2018 season in the ranks of the ZSC Lions, with whom he won the championship title. In 15 matches on Swiss ice, he had scored 8 points.

During his career, Linden Vey also lifted the Gagarin Cup, awarded to the winner of the KHL in 2019 with CSKA Moscow and the bronze medal with Canada at the 2018 Olympic Games in Pyeongchang.

Linden Vey will bring great experience to the Dragons squad. He played 360 KHL games (271 points) and 138 NHL games (44 points) between 2013 and 2017 for the Los Angeles Kings, Vancouver Canucks and Calgary Flames.
