As the electoral campaign enters its 13th day, the candidates and their coalitions are deployed with intensity throughout Senegal. Every day, the caravans cross towns and villages, organizing meetings, local visits and door-to-door meetings to convince voters, less than a week before the elections.
At the head of the PASTEF coalition caravan, Ousmane Sonko and his team have traveled the country with impressive mobilization since the start of the campaign. Having left Saint-Louis after a meeting which brought together thousands of activists, they are heading today towards Louga, Kébémer and Darou Moukhty, before joining Dahra for a large gathering. The enthusiasm of local populations accompanies the caravan, which attracts large crowds every day, thus marking the support of part of the electorate.

In the popular neighborhoods of Dakar, the coalition Gokh You Bess is leading a campaign focused on local concerns, particularly in the informal sector. During a meeting with traders and residents of the Benn Tally and HLM markets, the head of the list, Fatou, called to vote for the coalition, promising to implement sustainable solutions for street vendors. Mouhamadou Amadou Diallo, in his program, proposes to improve the working conditions of actors in the informal sector, in particular by offering alternatives to evictions.
The coalition UNITrepresented by Cheikh Issa Sall, visited the family of the influential religious guide Elhadj Mame Anssou Niang in Karang, near the Gambian border. This meeting, rich in symbols, testifies to the importance of traditional and spiritual links in the Senegalese countryside, where local support plays a decisive role.
