According to Libération, which provides new details this Friday, several important developments have taken place in the case between Zakiloulahi Sow and Papa Doro Gaye.
The case took a new turn yesterday with the placement under arrest warrant for complicity in fraud of Colonel Cheikh Sarr, colonel of the national gendarmerie. Initially heard as a witness by the Research Section (SR) of Dakar, then by the judge of the third cabinet in charge of the case, Colonel Sarr is now implicated.

According to our colleagues, Zakiloulahi Sow accuses Cheikh Sarr and a marabout of having collected 400 million FCFA out of the 1.2 billion FCFA claimed from Papa Dora Gaye. However, the colonel has always denied these accusations. These developments come as the main accused, Papa Dora Gaye, remains untraceable. Incarcerated on June 3, he was released under judicial supervision on June 28.
Recently, however, the judge revoked this measure of judicial control, ordering his placement under a committal warrant. Summoned, however, Papa Doro Gaye never showed up. In an order, the judge of the third cabinet ordered the freezing of his accounts and the seizure of his property, in particular lots numbers 5, 8 and 9 of TF 23.239/GR, 23.242/GR, and 23.243/GR.
