An individual attacked the station ticket office in Martigny on Friday shortly after 7:15 a.m. After threatening the staff, he took the loot and left the premises. A large police force was deployed.
For now, the individual is still on the run, the police said in a press release. Contacted by Keystone-ATS, she indicated that she could not provide more information for the moment on the circumstances of the theft and the individual sought.
On the CFF side, we confirm the robbery, nothing more. “For security reasons, we do not provide any information on the amounts stolen or on the security measures surrounding the station counters,” specifies the railway company.
