Toronto police were alerted around 3 p.m. to the presence of a stolen Dodge Ram pickup truck parked in the city center. The driver and a police officer were taken to hospital with minor injuries. A mounted patrol horse was also admitted to the veterinary hospital for evaluation. “Luckily no one was seriously injured, but it was a very dangerous situation,” Inspector Scott Schutt told the Canadian press.
