For a sixth game in a row, Ivan Demidov blacked the scoresheet at least once for SKA Saint Petersburg.

In a 6-3 victory against Novosibirsk Sibir, the talented Montreal Canadian prospect completely mystified the opposing goalkeeper with a clever pass to allow Evgeny Kuznetsov to score in a gaping cage.

Throughout the sequence, Demidov suggested that he intended to shoot a shot towards the net before putting it back, without looking, to his right towards his teammate who only had to lodge the puck in a net left free.

CH’s first choice in the last draft thus collected his ninth point in his last six games.

The man who was just named KHL rookie of the week for the third time this campaign has now collected 17 points in 21 games.

He finished the game with 16 min 26 sec of ice time, his highest total of the season. He had obtained 16 min 8 sec during the last meeting.
