“With him, things quickly went downhill”: Alain Delon’s former bodyguard talks about his years with the actor

Daniel Broussin, Alain Delon’s former bodyguard, recently spoke about his daily life with the actor.

It’s 1993, and while Alain Delon is looking for a new bodyguard, he meets Daniel Broussin. He doesn’t know it yet, but the latter will soon ensure his security.

In an interview given to the newspaper The Parisianthe former bodyguard looked back on this experience. When he met Alain Delon, Daniel Broussin was quickly impressed by the man, as he explains: “What struck me right away was his gaze. You had the impression that by observing you, he knew everything about you. He had a charisma like you don’t see anymore.”.

Unfortunately for Daniel Broussin, things have not always been easy with the actor, especially on film sets.With him, things quickly went south”he confesses.

He remembers in particular one time when Delon was furious because he had not answered the phone.One afternoon in Geneva, Delon tried to call me, but I had turned off my phone to accompany Alain-Fabien. Despite everything, the former bodyguard has very good memories of the actor.
