These two new concerts will take place on September 27 and 28, 2025, more than a month after the 17 concerts planned for July and August in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

British rock band Oasis announced on Wednesday two additional London dates in September due to the “phenomenal demand” for its return tour and will change the way it sells tickets after a controversy this weekend. “Two additional concerts at Wembley Stadium have been added due to phenomenal demand”the Manchester duo said on X. They will take place on September 27 and 28, 2025, more than a month after the 17 concerts scheduled for July and August in the UK and Ireland.

The Gallagher brothers announced last week that they were reuniting with iconic Britpop band Oasis for the series of concerts, which has sparked huge excitement 15 years after their split. But the chaotic ticket sales on Saturday for the Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin dates – all sold out within the day – have sparked anger and frustration among fans. They faced numerous outages on saturated ticket platforms and were unpleasantly surprised to discover at the last minute that a “dynamic pricing” had caused prices to soar.

1.4 million tickets sold on Saturday

This time, tickets will be sold through a process “staggered” and with “an invitation-only draw”the band stressed on X. British fans who failed to secure tickets on Saturday on Ticketmaster UK, the main sales site, will be given priority access to this draw, Oasis promised, who will give more details on the process at a later date.

Faced with the controversy, the British government has promised to look into these controversial methods of selling concert tickets and in particular into this practice of “dynamic pricing” which has caused the price of some tickets for the Oasis tour to soar from 150 pounds to more than 350 pounds. On Monday, hundreds of fans had filed complaints with the British advertising regulator. In total, more than 1.4 million tickets were sold on Saturday, the BBC estimated. Wembley Stadium, where these two dates were added, has a capacity of 90,000 people.
