VIDEO – Xavier Bertrand remains the historic adversary in Hauts-de-France of Marine Le Pen, elected in Hénin-Beaumont (Calais).

This Tuesday, September 3, the National Rally warned that it would vote a motion of censure against the nomination of Xavier Bertrand as head of government. The president of Les Républicains “is outrageous and insulting towards the RN”explained the party’s entourage “He is someone who has no backbone (…) a communications man who pretends to be a social Gaullist”castigated RN MP Sébastien Chenu this Wednesday, demanding the appointment of “someone who would respect opposition.” The RN opposed “priority” to the candidacy of Xavier Bertrand.

The head of the RN deputies, Marine Le Pen, was categorical about the candidacy of the president of Hauts-de-France during a telephone interview with Emmanuel Macron. Xavier Bertrand remains the historic adversary in Hauts-de-France of Marine Le Pen, elected in Hénin-Beaumont (Calais). The RN lost twice to the former LR deputy during the regional elections. Among the conditions set out by the head of the RN deputies for not voting censure: that the new host of Matignon “Do not treat us like plague victims, let him respect our elected officials”
