Living in Luçon, he has not been heard from since Wednesday, August 28. The police have relaunched an appeal for witnesses in the face of this worrying disappearance.

An appeal for witnesses was broadcast on Monday on the social networks of the Vendée gendarmerie regarding a worrying disappearance, south of La Roche-sur-Yon. Aged 40, Fabien Simonneau has not given any sign of life for a week. “Residing in Luçon (85), this regular walker has been missing since Wednesday August 28, 2024 at 4 p.m.”indicate the gendarmes. According to West France he never returned to his home for disabled adults after his walk and the search turned up nothing.

The last known outfit worn by the 40-year-old was a straw hat, a short-sleeved turquoise top, and dark Bermuda shorts. He was also equipped with a walking stick. At 1.60m tall, his build is described as «forte».

On August 23, an appeal for witnesses was launched by the gendarmes of the neighboring department of Loire-Atlantique to find a disoriented 69-year-old woman who had left her home in the middle of the night. She was finally found safe and sound the next day.
