The two camps will soon face each other in the League

Kylian Mbappé will return to PSG on September 11 before the LFP legal committee to settle the financial dispute between them. The Real Madrid striker is demanding 55 million euros from the capital club.

The date of the reunion between Kylian Mbappé and PSG has been set. As reported by L’Equipe and Le Parisien, and confirmed by RMC Sport, the new Real Madrid player and his former club will meet on September 11 before the legal committee of the Professional Football League after being contacted by the captain of the French team, who is demanding 55 million euros from the capital club. This sum would correspond to the last three months of the player’s salary, his “ethics bonus” and part of his signing bonus.

In June, Kylian Mbappé had already put PSG on notice for the same matter, just a few days after leaving the club at the end of his contract after seven years in the capital, the last of which was marked by being sidelined in the loft in the summer of 2023.

What sanctions does Paris risk?

If the accusations are founded, PSG could be banned from recruiting in the event of non-payment of a player. The club also risks having its UEFA Club License, granted to participants in European competitions, called into question. One of the conditions for granting this license is the absence of payment arrears.
