Who says no rise “taxes for middle and popular classes“, says increase elsewhere. On the BFMTV set, Amélie de Montchalin returned to the decision to increase the solidarity tax on plane tickets, already provided by the Barnier government before its resignation. As Le Figaro reports, The Minister of Public Accounts assured that it is “ecological tax measurement […] meaningful“, before comparing it to a”kerosene tax“.
In detail, she explains that this measure will be applicable to all companies, foreign and French. There “increase will be moderate, less than ten euros, on domestic flights“, she continued. Currently, this tax is set at 2.63 euros for a trip to economy class to a member country of the European Union or the European Economic Area and to any other state located less 1,000 km, according to the Ministry of Ecological Transition.

Climb to the niche on the cost of gray cards
BFMTV reported that eight regions have decided to increase the price of gray cards in order to recover more regional tax. Normandy, for example, comes at the top of this classification with an increase of 30.4 %, thus going from 46 to 60 euros.
