In the territorial commune of Ben Karrich, the minister, who was accompanied by the governor of the province of Tetouan, Abderzak El Manssouri, the vice-president of the Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceima region, the president of the Regional Chamber of Agriculture, professionals, elected officials and ministry officials, visited the wholesale market and modern slaughterhouse project to inquire about the progress of the second phase of work on this project, with an initial budget of more than 73 million dirhams (MDH), which is part of the agreement concluded between the ministry and the municipality of Tetouan.
This visit was also marked by the launch of additional works on the complex, aimed at facilitating access to the facilities, and the presentation of architectural and technical plans for the future livestock market, with a view to improving livestock marketing conditions.
In a statement to the press, Mr. El Bouari stressed that this visit was an opportunity to launch several agricultural development projects and to inquire about the progress of the second tranche of work on the market project. wholesale and modern slaughterhouse, specifying that the work is taking place at a “very advanced pace”.
-The minister also proceeded, on the occasion of this visit, to the inauguration of the new headquarters of the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture of Tetouan.
