Lausanne showed character against Berne. Trailing 4-1 in front of his home crowd, the Vaudois leader of the National League came back to score before snatching his second victory after extra time in two days against the Bears (5-4 after).
The LHC almost paid dearly for a slack during the middle period. While the score was 1-1, the visitors scored three times in 2’13, including two power play goals.

But the Vaudois found the resources to react and return to 4-4 before the end of the third thanks to three successes in 3’55. Théo Rochette and Jason Fuchs, each author of a double, were the most prominent on the Lausanne side. The decision fell after 3’50 of overtime thanks to Fuchs.
Bienne, traveling on the ice of the reigning champions, returned empty-handed from the banks of the Limmat. The Zurich Lions won 3-2. The decisive goal was scored by Denis Malgin (47th).
