24 hours after Professor Madior Diouf’s call to God, the Head of State, Bassirou Diomaye Faye presented his condolences to the grieving family. “It is with deep sadness that I learned of the death of Professor Madior Diouf, a brilliant academic, intellectual and committed politician. On behalf of the Nation, I extend my sincere condolences to his family, to the academic community, to the political class and to all our fellow citizens”, wrote BDF on its X page (ex Twitter).

As a reminder, the former president of the National Assembly, Moustapha Niasse, announced yesterday the death of his friend Professor Madior Diouf, leader of the National Democratic Rally (RND), father of Ndella Madior Diouf, on the night of January 22 to 23 2025.
