Senegal plans to mobilize 1000 billion FCFA in 2025 on the UEMAO public securities market. The announcement was made this Tuesday, in Abidjan, on the sidelines of the second Day of Meetings on the public securities market, during the presentation of the issuance calendar. The funds raised by the country of Teranga will be used to meet cash flow needs.

According to the presentation made this year, the eight States of the Union will mobilize a total of 10,000 billion FCFA. Ivory Coast, for its part, plans to raise 3,100 billion FCFA, or 400 billion less than in 2024.

To further support States, UMOA-Titres is focusing on several priority actions. It intends to increase awareness of investments in the MTP, as well as reforms aimed at encouraging the collection of resources by pension funds and insurance companies.
