“If socialist deputies were to refuse again to censor the government of François Bayrou” when examining the draft budget, “they would definitively break with the New Popular Front”said La France insoumise in a press release, Wednesday January 22.

“They would confirm a reversal of alliance and would no longer be able to represent the left opposition in their constituencies”add the Mélenchonists, whose first motion of censure, tabled in the wake of the Prime Minister's general policy declaration, was voted on January 16 by the PCF and the Ecologists, but not by the PS.

On the occasion of the vote on the draft budget, scheduled for early February, the National Assembly, “the government should use section 49.3”predicts LFI, which warns that its deputies would then table a new motion of censure. “So this will be the moment of truth”continues the party, which also intends “propose bilateral meetings to parliamentary groups” of the NFP, including the PS, “for the purpose of clarification”.
