The City of Lausanne has launched a partnership with The Sorority Foundation, an organization which offers a mobile application dedicated to mutual aid between women in the event of feelings of insecurity. Thanks to this app, already supported in , women can seek help in the event of a threat in the street, transport, or any other space. The tool, free and accessible in 15 languages, instantly connects users to validated profiles nearby who can provide assistance. If this application complements the security system, the City reminds that, in the event of a real threat, dialing 117 remains imperative.
