A laptop with exemplary finishes
For its Galaxy Book 4 360, Samsung has clearly not neglected the finishes and offers us a metal chassis with rounded contours of the most beautiful effect, without any sharp edges, and with a contained weight of 1.48 kg. Above all, as the “360” in its name clearly indicates, this laptop has a 360° hinge which allows it to transform into a tablet or a “tent”. We are therefore entitled to a particularly versatile laptop PC, which we can use to work, to draw (yes, the S Pen stylus is provided) or even to watch films comfortably without having the keyboard spoil our vision.
On the screen side, this Galaxy Book 4 360 is equipped with a 15.6-inch Amoled panel, which supports a definition of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Since the laptop can be transformed into a tablet, this panel is obviously touchscreen and compatible with the previously mentioned S Pen. In terms of refresh rate, it caps at 60 Hz. This is sufficiently fluid for classic tasks, but the Pro version of course does better with a rate of 120 Hz.
-Fully controlled heating
The Samsung Galaxy Book 4 360 is also powered by an Intel Core 7 150U processor, supported by 16 GB of RAM to manage multitasking. No Ultra range here, and therefore no integrated NPU or Arc GPU. The SoC is clocked at 1.8 GHz and can turbo up to 5.4 GHz. Certainly, this processor is not a monster of power, but for classic everyday tasks (therefore not too resource-intensive), it holds its own very well. Above all, remember that Samsung has favored silence and reduced heating over performance. And this thermal management is truly admirable: the Galaxy Book 4 360 did not exceed 42°C at its hottest point during our test.
In terms of autonomy, the Galaxy Book 4 360 contains a rather large 68 Wh battery and is accompanied by a 65W charging unit with the Power Delivery standard. Note that the computer also benefits from fast charging allowing it to regain up to 39% battery in 30 minutes. During our test, with typical office use, the laptop worked for almost 12 hours. Finally, on the connectivity side, we find an HDMI port, two USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB-A 3.2 port, a microSD card reader and a combo jack.
