Aly Sall, abandoned by his accomplices who fled, was intercepted at Gandigal after a chase led by Jakartamen determined to end his reign of terror. Delivered to the police at the Saly Portudal urban police station, he is placed in detention.

A serious criminal past

During his trial, Aly Sall denied all accusations, attributing the crimes to his two accomplices on the run. Yet, The Observer reports that the young man, already convicted in the past for similar acts, does not convince the court. Found in possession of a 5th category weapon, he claims that it belongs to his accomplices.

For the public prosecutor, these arguments do not hold up. “His guilt is undeniable,” he said, before requesting a sentence of 7 years in prisonciting the defendant’s previous convictions and the seriousness of the acts committed.
