Designed in Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Atelier des Métiers Rares™, the Reverso Tribute Enamel Snake is distinguished by the integration of rare and demanding know-how. The dial and the case back are decorated with a Grand Feu black enamellinga technique mastered by a limited number of artisans around the world. Achieving perfect depth and shine requires six layers of enamel, each fired at 800°C, for a total of 24 hours of work.
On the back, the engraving of a snake surrounded by flames, produced by hand in 80 hours, illustrates the virtuosity of the house’s engravers. The reptile’s scales are finely sculpted and enhanced with a black rhodium treatment, while the sandblasted and polished surfaces play with the light to give an impression of movement.
A timeless design inspired by Art deco
The front of the watch embodies the understated elegance of the collection Reverse Tributewith faceted indexes, Dauphine hands and a minute track, typical of the Art Deco style. The deep black of the enamel contrasts harmoniously with the rose gold casereinforcing its sophisticated look.
