On Wednesday January 15, 2025, a new strategic partnership was sealed for the promotion of crafts in Senegal. During a ceremony organized at ADEPME headquarters, Madame Sophie Nzinga SY, Director General of the Agency for the Promotion and Development of Crafts (APDA), and Madame Marie Rose FAYE, Director General of the Agency of Development and Supervision of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (ADEPME), signed an agreement aimed at strengthening the competitiveness of small and medium-sized artisanal businesses.

This collaboration is based on several major objectives. It seeks to push social inclusion, particularly targeting young people and women, by offering them concrete opportunities for entrepreneurship and empowerment. To do this, incubation and formalization programs will be put in place. At the same time, the agreement aims to stimulate local consumption by promoting products made in Senegal, thus promoting Senegalese identity and artisanal know-how.
