A national police operation led to the “takeover” of 46 people exiled in , near Puys beach, when an attempted crossing was suspected. An investigation has been opened.

A group of 46 people was spotted by the national police around Puys beach, in Dieppe, this Thursday, January 16 at dawn. These are adult migrants, including a pregnant woman, announces the Seine-Maritime prefecture.

This control takes place within an “operation to combat illegal immigration”, continues the prefecture.

The migrants concerned were moved by bus and taken care of by the CCAS, the SDIS and the Red Cross in the Léon-Rogé gymnasium. Snack distributions were notably carried out.
