Earlier this afternoon we reported that the attacker Emil Heineman of the Canadian was involved in a road accident yesterday.

He, who was on foot when he was probably hit by a motorist, will now have to be absent for a period of 3 to 4 weeks.

Following this announcement, the DG Kent Hughes reacted, deciding not to make a recall while the team is currently in the Salt Lake City area when it will face Utah HC this evening.

According to what is reported Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sportsso it is the attacker Michael Pezzetta who will take his place in the lineup. However, it is currently unknown whether Alex Newhookwho missed yesterday’s training while suffering from flu symptoms, will be able to take part in the match.

No player will be recalled today by the @CanadiensMTL so Michael Pezzetta will be inserted into the lineup. Alex Newhook was ill yesterday so it will be interesting to see whether or not he can play tonight.

If he is unable to play, Martin St. Louis will therefore be forced to go with a lineup made up of 11 attackers and 7 defenders.
