At a press conference, Roberto De Zebi praised Amir Murillo.
Disappointing last season for his arrival in the Marseille city, Amir Mutillo seemed to be heading towards a departure this summer or this winter. But ultimately the Panamanian defender earned his place and even became important in the eyes of Roberto De Zerbi. The Italian technician also complimented him at a press conference.
“He’s a player every coach would want”
“I’m very happy with him. It brings me a lot of satisfaction. It's one of the team's secrets. From the position he occupies, he comes to attack and we saw him on several goals against Le Havre, those of Maupay and Garcia, then against Rennes, for Greenwood. I’m really happy with him,” said De Zerbi.
“I think he is sometimes underestimated, but not by me or by the club who think highly of him. I hope he stays with us for many years because he is a good player, a great professional, a good boy. He’s a player every coach would want,” he added.
