La Linguère de Saint-Louis, playing in the Senegalese first division, announced her decision to part ways amicably with her head coach, El Hadji Massamba Cissé. This separation, officially confirmed on Saturday evening, is part of the club’s desire to follow a new sporting dynamic and meet the expectations of its supporters.

According to the press release received by the APS, the club management also announced its intention to reorganize its entire technical staff. Massamba Cissé took up his position at the head of Linguère during the off-season, succeeding Magib Diagne. Previously, Cissé had managed the teams of AS Pikine and Stade de Mbour. He signed a two-year contract last August with this Saint-Louis club, renowned for its 300-year history.

Currently, Linguère is in fifteenth and penultimate place in the Ligue 1 standings, marking a difficult start to the season. In the 11 matches played, the team recorded only one victory, four defeats and six draws, with a total of 8 goals scored against 12 conceded.
