The Rouche club has formalized its third recruit of this winter transfer window.
Standard strengthens its defense with the arrival ofAttila Szalai who committed to Sclessin. The Hungarian arrives from TSG Hoffenheim after Karamoko and Hountondji, this is the third winter recruit for Rouches.
The international has 46 caps with Hungary and has been at Hoffenheim since 2023. Previously, he wore the colors of Rapid Vienna, Apollon Limassol and Fenerbahçe.
But Szalai has not played a single minute this season with Hoffenheim, who had nevertheless paid 12 million euros to buy him from Fenerbahçe. The club does not mention a purchase option.
The 26-year-old defender will play in a sector that Ivan Leko wanted to strengthen.
