A Flixbus bus accident on the A11 in Germany left two dead and four seriously injured on Saturday. The bus, traveling from Berlin to Szczecin, overturned on the snow. Of the 14 passengers, all were hospitalized. The causes remain to be determined.

Two people died and four others were seriously injured on Saturday in a serious bus accident on the A11 motorway near Uckermark, in the state of Brandenburg, in eastern Germany, according to police .

The accident occurred in the afternoon on the route between Berlin and the Polish city of Szczecin, according to a Flixbus press release. “Among the 14 people on board, including a driver, two people died. The other occupants were transported to nearby hospitals”specifies the press release. “The exact circumstances of the accident are not yet known”adds the company.

Images broadcast by German media showed the bus overturned on its side, along the highway barrier, near thick piles of snow.

In March 2024, the accident of a Flixbus bus carrying 54 people in eastern Germany left four dead and many injured.

Flixbus is a German company managing a large fleet of long-distance coaches in several European countries, Morocco and the United States.
