Nearly two months after the hearing and almost a year and a half after the events, Bernard Casoni was found guilty on Thursday by the Orléans criminal court, and sentenced to a fine of 25,000 euros (including 15,000 suspended) for racist remarks. Currently stationed in Gagnoa (Ivorian D2), the 63-year-old technician was absent when the deliberations were announced, as during the debates held in mid-November.
