Pamela Anderson has opened up about feeling ‘underestimated’ in Hollywood.
The 57-year-old actress found success with her role as CJ Parker on “Baywatch” in the early 1990s, but her career fizzled after she left the show.
However, Pamela Anderson made her comeback this year with her performance in “The Last Showgirl”, by Gia Coppola, which earned her a nomination for the Golden Globe for best actress in a drama film. The award ultimately went to Fernanda Torres for her role as Eunice Paiva in the biographical and political drama “I’m Still Here.”
In an interview with “W Magazine,” the star explained that she was happy to finally be recognized, admitting that her acting skills had been “underappreciated” and that she had “not really” been given his luck.
“I feel like this is just the beginning…I still have a lot to give. I am capable of much more than I ever thought I could do in the past,” she confided.
During the same interview, Pamela Anderson, four times divorced, revealed that she had been “disappointed” by her meeting with Michael Jackson, her teenage crush, because the singer had not proposed to her.
“Michael Jackson. I thought he would want to marry me. Then I met him and he didn’t ask me to marry him! I was really disappointed,” said Pamela Anderson.
