Five years of criminal imprisonment, such was the verdict recently rendered by the criminal chamber at the Rabat Court of Appeal, against a pedophile who sexually abused a sixteen-year-old teenager. Indeed, the accused who denied the charges brought against him before the Court had been the subject of a complaint filed by the teenager’s parents after learning that this father, thirty years old, member of a associative network in Salé, sexually abused their child.
According to the complaint from the teenager’s parents, the accused has long been accustomed to hijacking the victim to take him to his home, to an apartment he rented in the Bettana district, in Salé, to rape him. But the teenager ended up revealing the secret to his parents.
As soon as he had problems with his wife, he began to hijack this teenager to take him to his home and abuse him, he claimed during his interrogation by the judicial police investigators who arrested and held in police custody. Before investigators, he admitted to having sexually abused other teenagers without forcing them to give in to him.
However, he denied everything during his questioning by the President of the Court. However, the forensic doctor’s report which was placed in the hands of the Court confirmed that the teenager was sexually abused on numerous occasions.
