The investigating magistrate of the financial prosecutor’s office, in charge of the investigation into the embezzlement of public funds within the framework of the Community Agricultural Estates Program (PRODAC), seeks to obtain clarifications concerning the facts alleged against Mamina Daffé (former PRODAC coordinator) and Ibrahima Cissé (manager of the Tida company), both placed under arrest warrant last November. They are notably accused of fraud on public funds, forgery and use of forgery in private bank documents, money laundering, as well as complicity in these offenses.
In this context, the investigating judge of the first financial firm issued, on January 6, an order ordering the carrying out of an expertise entrusted to the audit and expertise firm (Adr) of Abdoulaye Dramé. The expertise must be rendered within 60 days.
The magistrate asks the audit and expertise firm to determine whether the activities of the Tida and Itta companies comply with the terms of the signed contract, supposed to ensure the transit of PRODAC equipment to the final sites. The expert is also asked to specify the steps taken by these two companies for the delivery of equipment.
Finally, the judge requires the production of all validated invoices which gave rise to payments, as well as a comparative study of the prices charged.
